Meet the instructors

At Runlates, our team combines expertise, warmth and a shared love of movement. Each instructor brings a unique background in Pilates, running and functional fitness, but we all share the same goal: helping you move better, feel stronger and enjoy every step of the journey.

Vic

Founder & Instructor

"Before founding Runlates, I worked in Visual Merchandising for major high street brands. While living in the US, I discovered Reformer Pilates, which added a whole new challenge and completely changed the way I moved.

After returning to the UK, I took up running and quickly realised how well Pilates had developed my strength, stability and mobility as a runner - things that are essential for injury prevention. This led me to train as a STOTT Pilates® certified Matwork and Reformer Pilates instructor, later specialising in Pilates for Runners and embarking on a full career change! Shortly after I certified as a Certified Running Technique Specialist with The Running School®, enabling me to help my clients not only move better, but run better too. It also helped me achieve and enjoy a marathon PB and first 100km event!

I love helping people discover how movement can transform their fitness and confidence, whether that means running stronger, feeling more resilient or simply enjoying life with less pain and more freedom."

Éva

Instructor

"My love for the hills has always been there, but running in them came later. Once I found that joy, I completed the Leadership in Running Fitness course with England Athletics and discovered how much I loved encouraging others to move too.

I first tried Pilates as a dancer in my teens, but returned to it in 2021 after joining one of the first Runlates Pilates for Runners classes. Three years later, I am a STOTT Pilates® certified instructor teaching everyone from beginners to dedicated mat fans.

Outside the studio, I love running, writing fiction, teaching creative writing and spending time in the garden. These things keep me connected, creative and moving."

Lynda

Instructor

"I was a distance runner and triathlete for many years, but after several frustrating injuries I had to step back and explore other ways to move. That is when I discovered Pilates and quickly realised how powerful it can be for strength, mobility and recovery.

I am a certified STOTT Pilates® instructor, as well as a personal trainer and Nordic Walking instructor, and I love working with clients of all ages to help them move with confidence and ease. Whether it is walking, running or simply enjoying life, my goal is to make movement feel good.

I live in Shrewsbury with my husband, two teenage children and two dogs."
