The Stiperstones Autumn Social - NEW route!

Join us for a scenic Sunday trot around the area North of the Stiperstones Nature Reserve.  We will be starting at Snailbeach, before heading through Oakridge Wood and up towards the Stiperstones and Shepherd's Rock.  Fingers crossed for a clear morning to take in the stunning views over Mytton Dingle as we continue our route, but we'll be enjoying the landscape regardless with plenty of wildlife and pretty vegetation to look out for!

This run is planned as 1 chatty loop of around 6-7 miles / 10-12km, starting and finishing in Snailbeach - around 20 minutes drive from Shrewsbury.  There will be a mixture of woodland trails, muddy fields and some rocky terrain (although we be avoiding the rockiest of the Stiperstones footpaths!), and of course a few hills. As usual the pace will be chatty, with walking whenever needed to both catch a breath and take in our surroundings…
