The Long Mynd Summer Social

Join us for a scenic summer's evening trot, through Batch Valley and then up onto The Long Mynd!  This run is planned as 1 chatty loop of around 6 miles/10km, starting and finishing in Batch Valley in All Stretton with the option of refreshments over a catch up in the pub afterwards.  There is 1 fairly steep climb towards the start to get up onto the top, but we'll be taking walking breaks as and when needed to enjoy the stunning views (and a homemade snack) at the top.  A relaxed run will follow, with some undulating ups and downs and spectacular scenery before a steady, runnable, descent back down.  This is a great way to explore the area and enjoy the views in a friendly, supportive environment! 

Batch Valley in All Stretton is the start/finish point, and we'll be heading to the local pub for our post-run refreshments.  We…
