About the event
Join us for a morning of chatty trail running around the stunning Ironbridge Gorge! This run is planned as 1 loop of around 5-6 miles / 8-10km, starting and finishing with a trot over the Iron Bridge itself. Our route includes pretty woodland, fields, trails and stunning views of the River Severn.
This is a great route for anyone newer to trail running, as although there is a climb in the middle (we will walk when needed) we are generally running on well-established paths and trails. After our run you are welcome to stay and enjoy some refreshments with us in the town centre - I am planning to try Embers Shropshire for brunch but there are also lots of great options for coffee and cake!
The route will be shared beforehand, and the group will be given clear directions/meeting points so anyone wanting to go a little further…
