Summer Social - The Lawley

Join us for a chatty trail run up and over the Lawley along with some fresh-air Pilates to warm up and cool down. We'll then be heading to the pub for a sundowner to start the weekend!

The route takes in country lanes, bridleways, footpaths and fields - and as we'll be taking in the full extent of the Lawley and its stunning views - will inevitably be hilly!  For this reason, this run is slightly longer - around 11k, however the focus remains on enjoying the company and the scenery, and walking whenever needed, so we'll be taking our time and the group will be given clear directions/way points so anyone wanting to go a little further or faster is welcome to do so. The run leader ALWAYS stays at the rear to keep everyone together.

Depending on the weather, we'll find a good spot both before the run and towards the end, to enjoy some mobility and flexibility-focused Pilates. No mat needed!

Please wear appropriate layers, bearing in mind it's often cooler (and windier!) on the top of a hill! Trail running shoes please and waterproofs dependent on the weather. Please bring any water or snacks you may need for the trail run, then we'll be rehydrating in the village pub afterwards!
