Runlates on Tour : Cornwall

I am delighted to share the details of the first official Runlates on Tour trip with Scarangar.  We will be exploring both the North and South Cornish coast, as well as visiting Lands End - and staying on a unique refurbished double decker bus!  You can view more details of our accomodation here, and please feel free to get in touch if you have queries.

*There is the option to stay an extra night (Thursday 27th June) on board the Scarangar bus for an additional cost of £50 - this will be subject to demand*

The trip includes:

• Accommodation on board the Scarangar bus, bedding included. We will be using the facilities at the campsites we will park at each night.
• 3 meals a day - all diets catered for
• Host/driver to take us to activities, cook meals, keep the bus clean and manage the day to stay on schedule (host sleeps in a separate tent next to the bus)
• Planned running routes with guidance provided - I will be happy to run in a group with those who want to, otherwise you are welcome to head off at your own pace to our destination if you prefer
• Long-stay parking for cars, car sharing is encouraged!

Our trip itinerary:

Friday

● Meet at campsite for a welcome lunch on the beach and a tour of our unique accommodation - the Scarangar bus!  ● Afternoon run Perranporth - Crantock (6miles) followed by post-run snack & chill  ● Private evening sauna in Olla Hiki - a unique hut on the beach! ● Dinner and sleep at Bedruthan

Saturday

●  Breakfast, then drive to St Agnes  ●  Morning run St Agnes - Portreath (6.6miles)  ●  Stop for lunch and optional sea dip

●  Optional second run or walk Sennen Cove to Land’s End (2miles) followed by post-run snacks & chill  ●  Pub dinner at First & Last pub (optional extra)  ●  Sleep at Land’s End

Sunday

● Breakfast  ● Run Land’s End to Porthcurno (5.5miles)  ● Stop at Porthcurno for lunch on the beach and visit Minnack Theatre  ● Optional afternoon run to Marazion - Praa Sands (5.7miles)  ● BBQ & Beach firepit at Praa Sands before bed

Monday

● Early light breakfast  ● Run Praa Sands - Porthleven (5miles)  ● Time in Porthleven for coffee and explore  ● Drive back to Perranporth  ● 12pm Departures from Perranporth
