About the event

Have you ever wondered how to describe what you feel when you run? Do you keep a diary of your runs and races and play with the idea of publishing it one day? Are you a runner who sometimes has a passing thought about writing one day?

The PENLATES workshop is for you! In this experimental, free sample workshop, you will discover how creative running makes you. The 60 minute writing exercises will be followed by a 5 km run in the Rea Brook Valley.

Your teacher

Éva Cserháti is a Hungarian-British writer with over 25 years of experience in writing, teaching and all things bookish. She is a UKA-qualified Run Leader who, in this workshop, tries to connect two of her major passions: running and writing.

The venue

The workshop will be held in Éva’s lovely kitchen at Sutton Grange. Parking is available.

The run

The route of the 5 km run, followed by a stretch, will be in the Rea Brook Valley at a meditative pace.

Who is the workshop for?

The workshop is experimental and, at the moment, is only open for Runlates people. You don’t need to have any experience in writing.

Tickets

The workshop and the run are free, but please register at eva.cserhati@gmail.com.

Donations are kindly accepted in the form of peat-free compost, horse or chicken manure, and any plant or seeds from your garden.
